The protocol for trainers is derived from the basic elements of Mentalization Based Treatment. It comprises a summary of the knowledge and skills that need to be imparted in a training programme if mental health practitioners are to include basic mentalizing interventions in their everyday work. A hand out for trainees is also included in the manual.

The manual for training will be provided to participants after satisfactory completion of the course.  The manual is accompanied by a set of slides and a DVD of the role plays to be used when training practitioners.
