Apply to produce our new film!

We are looking for a production company to co-produce an accessible and engaging short film!

Our Talking Mental Health animation has so far accumulated approximately half a million online views and was shown in primary schools across the nation!

Following this incredible success, we are ready to embark on our next exciting motion picture project, this time aimed at secondary schools.

We are looking for a production company to co-produce an accessible and engaging short film, up to 6 minutes long, to help 11-14-year olds to:

  • Gain a common language and understanding of mental health issues.
  • Know how to talk about their own mental health issues with others.
  • Learn how to respond if peers talk to them about their own mental health issues.

More Info

While we want this new film to align closely with the aims of our previous animation we do not want a replica of Talking Mental Health. This film and the Talking Mental Health animation do not have to sit side by side nor compliment each other.

We are keen to hear your ideas on the best way of producing this new project whether live action, animation or another approach.

We are committed to youth participation and the successful company will co-produce the film with The Centre’s Youth Participation team and Young Champions.

The production will include four ‘youth participation days’ with two secondary schools to generate ideas, art work, voice recordings or any other content as required to ensure the film and supporting resources are; accessible, relevant and meaningful to our target age range.
