Nick Midgley, MSc Course Director and Child and Adolescent psychotherapist at the Anna Freud Centre, writes about what impact Anna Freud's ideas have on children's welfare today in his book 'Reading Anna Freud'.Nick illustrates how Anna Freud's ideas can be used, not only in psychoanalytic treatment, but also to inform the care of children in families, hospitals, classrooms, residential care and the court-room.
'Reading Anna Freud' will be officially launched at the Anna Freud Centre International Scientific Colloquium on the 2nd of November.
