A fun day out for all the family

Hundreds of children and families took part in a fantastic, fun range of activities at our Open Afternoon on Sunday 18th September.Over 500 parents and children came along to the Anna Freud Centre to get their faces painted, learn how to juggle, and take part in story time workshops delivered by top children’s authors. A few lucky families won some really exciting raffle prizes including a family theatre trip, health centre passes and delicious restaurant meals.
This was also a great opportunity for volunteers of all ages to get involved with the work of the Centre, and for the first time we had a number of young people helping out at the event. Their invaluable contribution helped make this a really enjoyable day for all who came along.
