Two million children in the UK are affected by parental mental illness*

What are you doing to safeguard them?

This all day event will be looking at ‘Kidstime’ which offers a child friendly, cost effective intervention to remedy the negative effects of parental mental illness.

People attending this training and consultation event will learn about:

  • the history, aims, and benefits of the Kidstime workshop intervention
  • practical steps for setting up and running programmes of this kind
  • experiences from current service users
  • key findings from a recent evaluation of pilot site Kidstime workshops.

The recently published Kidstime Training Manual and pilot site evaluation report will be available on the day.

We will also be inviting those interested in setting up Kidstime to participate in a Randomised Control Trial, which would include ongoing supervision and training by experienced facilitators.
