Circle of Security Parenting Programme
The Circle of Security is an 8 week parenting program based on 50 years of attachment theory and research about how parent/child relationships can be supported and strengthened; it makes attachment theory accessible and applicable to parents.
It is suitable for families with children of all ages, where children are showing difficult behaviours.
The programme is run by Dr Shadi Shahnavaz, Family Therapist and accredited Circle of Security Facilitator.
How we help
Attachment theory provides a framework for understanding children’s fundamental relational needs and our responses to those needs as caregivers.
The following video on the Circle of Security parenting programme will give you an understanding of the principles we adopt and how it may help you as a parent:
Structure of programme
The programme will run from 10:00 - 12:00 on Wednesdays over the course of 8 weeks.
