Other Ways to Fundraise For Us

Attend Our Fundraising Events

Wheelie Pumped Ceilidh

Have a fun filled evening of Scottish dancing, hosted by the iconic Ceilidh Club, and support the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families. Four brave members of staff are taking on the London to Brighton Cycle and have organised a Ceilidh as part of their fundraising efforts.

The team- known as Wheelie Pumped- will be tackling the route just a week after this event so they will need all your encouragement (and the muscle training the Ceilidh can provide). The team is raising funds for the Parent-Toddler groups, an initiative that provides much needed support to families and young children during the challenging stage of toddlerhood.

Only 50 fundraising tickets are available. They can be purchased in advance for £16.50. You can purchase tickets here. If you can't attend but want to support the group you can donate to their online fundraising page

 Clothes Swap Extravaganza

Revitalise your wardrobe while fundraising for our vital work at Wheelie Pumped's upcoming clothes swap. Bring along used items in good condition and simply swap them for other items to add to your collection. For just a £4 entrance fee, attendees will be give a token for every item of clothing they donate. Each token can then be exchanged for any other piece that catches their eye. If you want to buy more items, or don't have anything to donate, you can still pick up new pieces for £4 per item. A whole new wardrobe awaits!

The event will take place on 14th September, 5-8pm, at North Cloisters, Wilkins Building, UCL, Gower Street, WC1E 6BT.  You can drop off your clothes until 3pm on 14th September at our offices in Jordan House, 47 Brunswick Place, N1 6EB.

Fundraising at Work

You can fundraise for the Centre at work in a range of different ways:

  •  Payroll giving: this is one of simplest and most tax efficient ways of making a regular donation to the Centre. Payroll Giving donations are deducted before tax so each £1.00 you give a month will only cost you 80p, and if you're a higher rate tax payer it will only cost you 60p. You can speak to your HR department about setting up a regular gift to the Centre through your salary.
  •  Team challenges events: taking on team challenge events in aid of the Centre can be a fantastic and fun way of boosting morale and uniting your team behind a great cause. Check out the challenge events page for some ideas.

Fundraising Online

There are many easy ways to fundraise online:

  • eBay: If you are buying or selling through eBay you can now choose to make a small donation to the Centre. Simply go to our eBay charity page and save us as a favourite, or click 'sell an item' or 'donate now'.
