About this course

The Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families, has been based in Maresfield Gardens, Swiss Cottage since 1951. This walk will explore the history of the area in which the Centre has been based for over 60 years. 

Join us on this short stroll to hear more about the local community as it is today, uncover previous residents including Anna and Sigmund Freud, and discover how the work of the Centre benefits families and young people suffering from mental health problems. 

The walk will take no more than one hour and fifteen minutes and is suitable for all ages and walking abilities. The ticket price includes entry to the Freud Museum, which will be the last stop of the tour. We hope you can join us! 

Fee: £5.00 for all (under 12s accompanied by an adult can come for free)

Camden Tour Guides Association have developed this walk to support the Mayor of Camden’s Charity of the Year: Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families. All proceeds will go towards the charitable work of the Centre.
