We have two interviews with significant alumni from the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families, who in very different ways, have made a great mark in their respective fields.
Dr Andrew Gerber finished PDP in 1994 and was part of the first cohort, went on to complete a PhD dissertation before training as an adult psychiatrist at Cornell in New York City, and a child psychiatrist at Columbia. In addition, he has has completed an adult analytic training at Columbia. He currently has a full time academic research position at Columbia in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
The late Pat Radford will be remembered as one of the most significant Child Psychotherapy luminaries who trained and gave her life to the Centre, and was a contemporary of Anna Freud.
