Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families

After considerable discussions and consulting with Forster Communications, The Anna Freud Centre is now being rebranded and will be from now on referred to as Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families.

There are many innovative changes in the coming months and year ahead including the development of a new centre of excellence in children’s mental health, which has just received a £2.5 million donation from the Pears Foundation. The Centre will bring together the best people and organisations in neuroscience, mental health and education to work directly with children and their families. It will be a knowledge hub and community, developing new treatments, interventions and approaches informed by the most recent scientific discoveries to deliver better mental health services on a local, national and international level.

Over the coming couple of years, we’ll be moving to a new single-site at Rodney Street, Kings Cross, with the Family School at the heart of the Campus.  The new site will help ensure the strategic aim of integration, and vision of the possibility for mutual learning and sharing across the School, wider school services, clinical services, service improvement and evaluation, postgraduate studies and our research and academic activities.
