Staff News and Updates

It has been a busy year in postgraduate studies with another cohort of postgraduate students graduating whilst we await the next group of students starting in the autumn.

It has been a positive year.  On PDP, Kay Asquith has been acting Head of Course whilst Alejandra Perez was on maternity leave. We are delighted that Alejandra has now returned fresh from her experience as a mother to Emilia who recently celebrated her first birthday. Alejandra has also recently qualified as a Parent Infant Psychotherapist here at the Anna Freud Centre.

In other staff news, for those who knew Melissa Cortina, who coordinated research projects on PDP, she is also on maternity leave having also become a mother over the last year to Eva. Michelle Sleed, who coordinated research on DPCP and taught on the doctorate, will be moving to France with her family for the coming year.  We have two alumni rejoining the Centre in the role of staff seminar leader positions, Ben Stambler and Flavia Ansaldo, both of whom did PDP before going on to complete the IPCAPA training in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy.
