First Steps
This service fills the current gap in psychotherapeutic support for parents that have had children removed from their care. It consists in a weekly mentalization-based treatment (MBT) group intervention as part of a 18 month programme to women with complex personality difficulties. It aims to empower these women to make positive choices through access to specialist support.

Wandsworth parent-toddler group
The Wandsworth parent-toddler group is aimed at a high-risk clinical group of vulnerable, deprived families. Its broad aims are to strengthen the parent-child attachment relationship through therapeutically supported talk and play, and in turn foster the toddler’s healthy development and emotional well-being, preparing them for nursery school.
