East Riding Emotional Wellbeing Service
We are a primary care service that offers talking therapies to people registered with an East Riding GP. The talking therapies that we offer include guided self-help, cognitive behavioural therapy and counselling to patients with common mental health problems.
We work with people who have anxiety disorders (e.g. OCD, health anxiety, general anxiety, and social anxiety), depression, stress and panic. It is easy to refer and it is not necessary to see the GP prior to referral. Anyone can self-refer by ringing 01482 335451, by texting TALK to 60163 or by visiting our online portal www.iaptportal.co.uk/erew.html
Alongside talking therapy, we have a great team of employment advisors. This team provides a range of support from CV writing, employer liaison, career change, back to work plans and interview preparation for anyone receiving talking therapy with the Emotional Wellbeing Service. We encourage people to self-refer, or GPs to use this system. Through this single route, people will continue to have access to a wide range of talking therapy support in a way that responds to the needs identified on assessment, delivered through different providers.
