Eva Sprecher, PhD student

My PhD research is exploring the nature of mentalization of foster carers about looked-after-children and the relationship between this characteristic and the mental health outcomes of children in care. I am particularly interested in how we can best measure mentalization of foster carers in a way that is relevant to the experiences of the children in their care. This research is linked to the work being done as part of the Reflective Fostering Programme.
