COVID-19 and its impact on Mental Health Awareness Training
Due to updated Government advice recommending the restriction of travel and unnecessary group meetings, we took the decision to cancel all future Mental Health Awareness Training days, effective from Tuesday 17th March. This meant that the following training sessions were cancelled:
Tuesday 17th March Newquay, London, Norwich
Thursday 19th March London
Friday 20th March Birmingham
Monday 23rd March Birmingham, Salisbury, Canterbury
Tuesday 24th March Birmingham, Canterbury, Stoke, Welwyn
Wednesday 25th March Blackpool
Friday 27th March Birmingham
Monday 30th March Bristol, Dudley
The Anna Freud Centre would like to thank you for signing up to this course and your commitment to Children and Young People’s Mental Health. Due to the uncertainty around coronavirus, we are unlikely to reschedule face to face training events but we are exploring the option of offering Mental Health Awareness webinars, as an alternative for those already booked on.
We will not be taking any further bookings for MHAT.
In the interim, we recommend that you join our Schools in Mind network to keep up to date with the latest news and resources. Also, please follow the link to find newly created resources on mental health and coronavirus: https://www.annafreud.org/what-we-do/anna-freud-learning-network/coronavirus/ This includes advice for young people, advice for parents and carers, and advice for schools and colleges.
We thank you again for your willingness to further your knowledge and understanding of Mental Health and Wellbeing and we look forward to working with you in the future.
Please feel free to get in contact with any queries on firstname.lastname@example.org but please be aware that the MHAT inbox will no longer be regularly manned from Monday 31st March 2020.
