So What? Preventing Mental Health Difficulties in Children and Young People

We will explore evidence from recent research and interventions focussed on the prevention of mental health and wellbeing difficulties.

About the "So What?" Seminar Series

The "So What?" seminar series has been developed by the Applied Research and Evaluation Division here at Anna Freud. It aims to build the bridge between evidence and practice in child mental health by asking, "So what does this mean?" in response to research findings, project outcomes, and the work of our collaborators.

In this seminar, we will explore evidence from recent research and interventions focusing on the prevention of mental health and well-being difficulties. Drawing from impactful initiatives at both national and local levels.

The webinar will begin with a presentation and then transition into a panel discussion. During this discussion, we will examine the implications of the research findings related to young people, parents, carers, and practitioners. The panel will consist of the main speakers, project partners, a lived experience expert, and a practitioner.
