Staying safe during coronavirus

We want to make sure that everyone on Team Anna Freud is looking after themselves in this unprecedented time. Through making use of digital platforms and social media you can continue to raise vital funds for our work while keeping yourself safe. If you're not sure how to support us at the moment or would like to share your fundraising with us, please feel free to contact us through the Fundraising Support page

We don't know how the coronavirus situation will impact on children and young people's mental health, but we think that it may.

We want to do all we can to prevent this from happening, or to minimise it. That's why we've created advice and guidance for children, young people and their families and for the professionals who support them.  View coronavirus support.

Upcoming challenge events

2.6 Challenge: The Centre will be taking part in the 2.6 Challenge on 26th April to raise vital funds for our work. To take part all you have to do is think of an activity based on the numbers 2.6 or 26, sign up to fundraise for us on Virgin Money Giving or JustGiving, share with your friends and family, and then complete your activity on the day. If you're stuck for ideas, why not browse our self care page for inspiration? You could do yoga for 26 minutes, go for a 2.6 mile run or try and score 26 goals.

You've taken on a challenge event.

What next?

The first step after signing up to a challenge event is to set up your own personal page on Virgin Money Giving where you can easily direct your friends, family and colleagues to donate towards your challenge.

You can set a target, tell everyone why you're raising money for us, and keep your supporters up to date with progress and training updates.

If you need any tips or information, you can get in touch via our support form.

Shout about your fundraising on social media

Be sure to shout about your fundraising on social media, tagging us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. We will happily Tweet and Facebook your activities to help you gain wider support across the country.

You can now set up a Fundraiser on our Facebook page too. Follow this link to easily set up your page. Friends and family can donate through Facebook and you can easily share updates.

The Centre is taking action to reduce the spread of the coronavirus. Our physical sites are now closed but we are still at work, with all staff working remotely. Find out more about our support for children, young people, their families, and schools and colleges and our training and services.
