Over the past decade, the Anna Freud Centre and the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust have partnered via ITSIEY to deliver world-class parent-infant training to hundreds of professionals from across the globe.  After serious consideration however and due to organisational reviews that have taken place within the context of the changing external environment, we have decided to end this partnership at the end of April 2021.

In order to mark the end of our partnership in delivering ITSIEY and to reflect on some of the key themes in parent-infant practice in the current context, 10 years on from when we first started, we are holding a conference called The Pandemic and Beyond - how professionals can respond to babies’ needs and support parenting practice which enables infants to thrive.  This will be an online event, held on 22nd and 23rd April 2021. This promises to be a contextually relevant and enriching conference that explores both the latest developments in parent-infant work and how these can be applied to practice and we hope to see you all there.

All ITSIEY training until the end of April 2021 will be delivered as scheduled. Beyond that time, both the Anna Freud Centre and the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust are committed to continuing to deliver quality short courses and training in infant and parental mental health.  You can find our scheduled upcoming courses on Anna Freud Centre's and Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust's websites.
