Dickon Bevington is a Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in the NHS, and Medical Director for Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families.  He co-leads the AMBIT project at the Centre, applying mentalization-based practices to work with complex, under-served and socially excluded youth, and works with the MBT-F (Families) team.  He leads on the development of award winning wiki-based treatment manuals which allow local teams to co-construct a “bespoke” local practice manual combining centrally-developed materials with locally-authored customisations that are shared across a wider community of practitioners.  He delivers AMBIT trainings and MBT-F trainings from the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families.
