This webinar will take place online, and details of how to join will be shared with registrants on the day of the event.
The WHO published the first official criteria for Complex PTSD in 2018. This short presentation will describe the criteria with particular reference to children and young people. It will consider some methods of assessment which are particularly appropriate for children and young people, and then describe how current treatment approaches may need adapting for children and young people with Complex PTSD. Questions can be raised remotely during the presentation.

Any mental health practitioners working with children and young people who have experienced trauma.
Aims of the event
- To describe the ICD-11 criteria for Complex PTSD with particular reference to children and young people;
- To consider some of the challenges to assessing Complex PTSD in children and young people;
- To consider some of the adaptations to treatment approaches for complex PTSD.
