AMBIT Supervisor/Practice Lead Training

Learn more about our AMBIT Supervisor/Practice Lead training.

About this training

This training aims to give a practical and theoretical underpinning to how AMBIT skills and knowledge can be applied to leadership and supervisory roles.  We consider existing supervisory practices and consider the application of a mentalization- and AMBIT-informed approach to these practices.

In addition, the course will consider mechanisms and approaches to leading the implementation of AMBIT practice within teams and organisations.  A key focus will be on how as a manager and a leader it is possible to model a mentalizing stance and appropriately express the need for help from colleagues and those who we lead and supervise.

This is a live online training, with trainers present throughout. The training consists of an engaging combination of live teaching, group discussion, skills practice, and interactive online activities.

Aims of the training

  • To be competent in techniques and theory in applying AMBIT to supervision;

  • Participants will be able increase AMBIT influence across teams and organisations;

Who is this training for?
