Evrinomy Avdi is associate professor in clinical psychology at the School of Psychology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in Greece, and research tutor in the professional doctorate in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy at the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families. She has trained in clinical psychology, psychoanalytic psychotherapy and dramatherapy. She teaches, supervises and researches clinical practice and psychotherapy. Her research interests lie in using qualitative approaches to studying psychotherapy process, primarily using discursive, dialogical and narrative analytic methods. Recently she has been involved in psychotherapy process research that entails the study of embodied relatedness, in conjunction with examining talk in therapeutic interactions.
