Julia Avnon
Overview
I am a Child and Adolescent Psychologist with over 20 years of experience in working with children with a variety of psychological and neurodevelopmental conditions, including ASC, ADHD, epilepsy, learning difficulties and neurodisability.
Within the NHS, I have worked in specialist, multidisciplinary assessment and intervention highly specialised teams such as various teams at Great Ormond Hospital, the Paediatric outpatients and inpatients team at UCL Hospital and the neurodisability service at St George’s NHS Trust.
I am a Clinical Tutor and Honorary Lecturer at Anna Freud Centre and the University College of London, where I am training the NHS workforce working in the field of autism and learning disability, and I am involved in research in neurodiversity.
I am passionately committed to advocate for a neuro-affirmative, kinder and more equal world for all.
