Overview

Andrea is a School Engagement Trainer for the Schools Team at the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families. Alongside this role Andrea is a registered Integrative Arts Psychotherapist, Supervisor and Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor. Andrea has worked as a teacher and SENCo in a wide variety of schools and has an in-depth understanding of the education system and challenges faced by staff, students and families. As a Senior SEN Advisory Teacher for Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Andrea has provided support, training and advice to Mental Health Leads, SENCos, Designated Safeguarding Leads, and pastoral staff in schools across a diverse London borough and supported senior leaders to embrace whole school approaches to wellbeing within their school communities.
