Ana Calderón

Ana Calderón, PhD, is currently a lecturer and researcher at Universidad Gabriela Mistral (Chile). Ana did her psychology undergraduate degree and clinical training in Chile, and then moved to the UK where she completed two MSc degrees and her doctorate, and worked for almost two years at the Evidence Based Practice Unit (EBPU) at Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families.

Ana’s PhD consisted on the development and validation of the Adolescent Psychotherapy Q-set (APQ; Calderon, Schneider, Target & Midgley, 2017), which is a psychotherapy process measure that provides a language and rating procedure for describing the therapeutic process in adolescent psychotherapy in clinically relevant terms and in a form suitable for quantitative comparison and analysis. She is currently involved with a research project exploring the psychotherapy process of depressed adolescents and its link to outcome.
