Dr Adrian Datta is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist who has a long standing interest in study of attachment and its clinical applications. As an undergraduate at UCL (1992-1995) he participated in London Parent Child Project looking at 5 and 6 year old's representations of their relationship with their mothers and fathers. He was part of the initial Child Attachment Interview Project Team and submitted his doctorate in 1998 on The Design and Development of the Child Attachment Interview and its Application to Children with Cystic Fibrosis. He has remained part of CAI Project Team and held clinical and senior management positions in a variety of health and social care contexts. Since 2013, he has worked in child protection services and is currently involved in the application of the CAI in assessment and forensic situations.
