Overview

Judith Felman trained as a Clinical Psychologist abroad and as an Adult Psychotherapist at the Tavistock Clinic and is a member of the British and International Psychoanalytic Associations since 2009. Judith is a qualified DIT therapist, supervisor and trainer,an Associate to the Psychological Therapies Development Unit (PTDU) at the Tavistock as well as a Visiting Lecturer there.  This unit transferred to the Anna Freud Centre earlier in 2018.

Judith has presented papers on DIT both in the UK and abroad - in Israel, Canada and at the 49th IPA Psychoanalytic Congress in Boston, in 2015.

Judith has many years’ experience working in the NHS at consultant level. In her last job at Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust, she was the Psychological Therapies Lead for the Enfield Complex Care Team. She retired in 2015 and is in private practice since, as well as continuing with her teaching and training activities both at the Tavistock Clinic and the Anna Freud Centre.

 Judith has strong links with Primary Care and Voluntary Sector settings where she can arrange placements for suitable trainees under her supervision to see DIT cases. In addition to English Judith, also offers therapy and supervision in Spanish and Hebrew, face to face or over Skype.
