Overview
Maya Flexer is a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist, working in the Anna Freud National Centre for Child and Families (AFNCCF) in the Child Psychotherapy Team, alongside work in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service in the NHS.
Maya has 11 years’ experience in working with infants, children and families with complex needs, including in community, education and inpatient settings. She trained at the Independent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Association in the British Psychotherapy Foundation. She has worked and trained at the AFNCCF for 7 years and is currently completing a doctorate in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy in UCL.
Maya has an MSc in Psychoanalytic Developmental Psychology from UCL and the AFNCCF and a Psychology BSc from Royal Holloway University of London.
