Overview
I am parent of a 27-year-old dual heritage autistic daughter who has spent many years detained and is now supported in the community.
My professional background is in Teaching, Social Work and Senior Management of Residential and Community Intervention Services within the diverse city of Birmingham.
Advocating for disadvantaged groups and individuals within a framework of inclusion has always been my priority. Since 2014 I have been involved in Care, Education Treatment Reviews in the role of Expert by Experience, Clinical reviewer and Chair.
I am delighted to be part of this ground breaking training programme.
