Overview

Olya is a Clarendon Scholar and DPhil (PhD) candidate in Social Policy at the University of Oxford. Her doctoral project is investigating the relationship between the perception of distributional injustice and individual experience of poverty in Ukraine. Her research is mainly qualitative, using in-depth interviews and participatory methodology. Olya holds an MSc from the University of Oxford in Comparative Social Policy, funded by the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation, and a BS in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University, New York.
