Emily Lees
Overview
Emily (she/her) is an Autistic Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) based in Manchester. She is the Founder of www.AutisticSLT.com and Co-Founder of www.DivergentPerspectives.co.uk. Emily campaigns for radical changes in therapy practices through public speaking, training, and education in order to transform the way professionals assess and support Autistic people.
As well as being a health professional, Emily shares her lived experience of navigating mental health services in her work in order to improve the way mental health professionals support Autistic people.
