Calm Connections


As a mum of two, Emma gained a wealth of knowledge and first-hand experience around mental health challenges faced by children, young people and their families. Her experiences led to founding Calm Connections, an organisation that supports families of children with mental health challenges.

With a BSc in Education and Psychology, she has used her learning around Child Development, Attachment, Communication and Family Therapy to support families for over 30 years. She has worked as a teacher, Early Years specialist, Sure Start Teacher, Consultant and Inspector. She is qualified as a Communication Ambassador and Youth Mindfulness Coach.
