Overview
Since her initial training with a WPF associate, Judy Lindsey-Clark has accumulated nearly 20 years' experience as a psychodynamic counsellor, including of NHS staff. She currently works for Dorset Healthcare as counselling lead for the IAPT service in Southampton, where she manages a team of 15 and has a caseload of DIT patients. Alongside her work in the NHS, Judy has managed a third sector psychodynamic counselling service for adults, and currently supervises psychodynamic counsellors, as well as DIT and e-DIT trainees and qualified therapists. In addition, an MA in Psychoanalytic Studies at the Tavistock has helped Judy pursue her interests in organizational dynamics, as part of the application of psychoanalytic ideas to cultural, social and political life. Judy is a BPC-accredited DIT Practitioner and DIT Approved Supervisor.
