Dr Duncan McLean, BA MB BChir MRCPsych qualified in medicine in 1974 and became a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 1979. He has been psychiatrist to the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families for over 15 years and is in charge of the diagnostic service there. He has many years experience in the assessment of children and their families. Since 1986, Dr McLean has also been a Consultant Psychiatrist in Psychotherapy at Kings College Hospital and the Maudsley Hospital. He is currently the Consultant in Charge of the Cawley Centre, Maudsley Hospital, which is a day facility for adults with chronic neurotic and personality disorders.
