Chrissie Rickman is a psychotherapist and organisation consultant who has worked with children & families for 35 years. Her particular interest is in developing interventions that help break destructive trans-generational cycles of trauma, abuse, neglect and loss. She is employed part time by the Anna Freud Centre as a Clinical Supervisor for “Minding The Baby”, a research project run by the NSPCC in collaboration with Yale University, AFC, UCL and Leeds University, which provides intensive therapeutic support for first time young mothers and their infants from pregnancy until the child is age two. She also works as a consultant with “Pause”, a project that works with women who have had multiple children removed from their care. She is a trainer and briefings author for Research in Practice.
