Becky Saunders

Becky came to EIF from Home-Start UK, where she was previously head of policy. She joined Home-Start UK in 2019, following more than a decade of clinical work as a child and adolescent psychotherapist in CAMHS, and within two voluntary sector organisations: OXPIP, where alongside clinical practice in parent-infant psychotherapy she was head of early years training, delivering training to a range of professionals across the UK; and as clinical lead for an adolescent counselling service in south Oxfordshire.

Becky sits on the steering group for the First 1001 Days Movement and is co-lead for the 0–3 supported clinical network for the Association of Child Psychotherapists.

Becky has a masters from the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust, where her dissertation was on family support, and additional qualitative research experience with a diverse range of families.
