Kate Salinsky

Overview

Kate Salinsky worked as a training manager and counsellor in the voluntary sector for 20 years before moving in 2014 to work with neurodivergent students in study skills and mentoring roles in Higher Education.

Kate has a postgraduate certificate in specialist dyslexia teaching and a first-class MA in Autism and completed her dissertation on the Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) profile of Autism.

Kate has a deep commitment to working in an area that makes a difference to individuals and communities and to changing the medical narrative about disability to one which understands, accepts, and celebrates neurodivergent individuals.

Kate is a co-founder of Dialogic Action - a community interest company specialising in improving the autism field through coaching, training and dialogue.
