Early Years Parent Infant Conference
Every year the Early Years Programme delivers an annual Parent Infant Conference
Our Annual Conference
The Early Years Programme delivers an annual early years conference in collaboration with the Parent-Infant Foundation. This is a large national conference that brings together a range of high-profile research, policy, and practice experts in the field of infant and early years mental health. Talks are aimed to showcase the latest thinking, intervention innovations and research in the field of infant mental health.
Speakers consist in experts from across the NHS, Local Authority and third sector, and deliver a series of collaborative discussions about joint working for the benefits of families in the early years. It offers speakers a platform to shine a light on some incredibly important issues in the early years, including poverty, trauma and unstable housing.
Further, it offers numerous professional networking opportunities. This conference is open to anyone interested in the emotional wellbeing of babies and young children including: therapists, health visitors, midwives, social workers, GPs, family support workers, Early years practitioners, researchers, commissioners, policy makers and parents with lived experience.
