Video-feedback intervention to promote Positive Parenting (VIPP)
Any staff working with parents and families with children under 7. This includes professionals working in early years settings and services, psychologists, psychotherapists, social workers, perinatal mental health services, health visiting, midwifery, GPs, IAPT and infant mental health.
• Train professionals to deliver VIPP-SD with families they work with. • Understand the theoretical basis and principles of VIPP-SD. • Train professionals how to write video-feedback to promote parental sensitivity. • Practice delivery of the intervention with an initial family and receive supervision.
We are currently accepting expressions of interest from potential trainees. If you would like to apply, please fill in this application form to register your interest and email the training commitment form (further details can be found in the 'Training commitment' section) to ambreen.rashid@annafreud.org by Thursday 20th October, 10am.
All expressions of interest will be reviewed and we will confirm if you have been successful by Monday 24th October at 5pm. Please ensure you are available to attend all training dates and time has been protected to fulfil training requirements.
Please ensure prior to booking you have read, understood the hours involved with the training. Ensure line managers are aware, and time has been protected to fulfil the training requirements.

In preparation for this training, delegates will be required to watch three videos and reading sections of the manual. These will be provided upon booking.
After completing the VIPP training, you will be required to work with a practice family under supervision.

The online platform Zoom will be used to deliver the live elements of this training. Please ensure you meet the system requirements for Zoom before booking on to any online live courses. Before the training, please test your equipment is working by going to Zoom.us/test and follow the instructions.
The online platform, Blackboard Learn, will be used to deliver any self-guided learning and will provide access to handouts, materials and homework. Most laptops/ PCs/ MACs/ iPads and android devices work with Blackboard. Blackboard is best accessed through Google Chrome.
