Childhood Adversity and Trauma

At the Anna Freud National Centre for Children & Families we are committed to supporting children and families to recover from childhood adversity and trauma, and to finding new ways of preventing mental health problems from arising.

This week's spotlight is on supporting children and families where a child has experienced adversity or trauma.  We also take a look at the key messages that have emerged from our focus on childhood adversity and trauma over the last four weeks.

This follows the 'Spotlight on Improving Systems and Decision Making''Spotlight on Innovation in Practice' and  'Spotlight on the Science of Early Adversity', exploring the impact of child adversity all of which can still be accessed below.
