ReZone is an app designed to be used in mainstream primary, and alternative provision/SEN primary and secondary schools with 10-15 year olds.
The app aims to help students manage their emotional wellbeing in the classroom by supporting them to re-focus if they are feeling angry, stressed or anxious.
It contains a series of tools which are designed to improve concentration, help relieve stress and help students to reflect and think through problems logically. It will help students calm and re-focus quickly, enabling them to re-engage with their learning.
ReZone uses mentallisation based therapy and cognitive behaviour therapy techniques such as the ‘stress bucket’ exercise and mindful breathing. The app is easy to use, fun and engaging which students can use both inside and outside of the classroom.
We are currently reviewing the data gathered so far from user testing to show the effectiveness of ReZone. As we continue to develop the app, there may be further opportunities for schools to participate in testing. Please keep an eye on this webpage for more details.
