I graduated in 2010 with a BSc in Psychology completed in Mexico and more recently completed an MSc in Developmental Psychoanalytic Psychology at UCL and the Anna Freud Centre. I am currently undertaking a PhD at the Psychoanalysis Unit, UCL under the supervision of Dr Lionel Bailly and Dr Yael Shmueli-Goetz. The focus of my research is on the impact ofinvoluntary or forced disappearance of fathers on their families and in particular, on the development of their children. The study will be conducted in Mexico wherein forced disappearances have increased dramatically over the last 10 years. The study is partly funded by CONACyT and UCL.
