AMBIT - Children and Young People (CYP) Crisis Workforce Films
On this page you can find videos and free downloadable training resources to support your learning and enable you to share insights gained from the training with your team.
Seen and Heard films
The Seen and Heard series of films tell the real-life stories of young people and parents/carers, from across England, who have accessed crisis pathway services. They are intended to support and enable professionals working in these settings to reflect and consider learning points from these experiences. Each video should be viewed and used alongside the specially created reflective learning activities.
Due to the emotive nature of the stories, it is important to highlight that the children, young people and families who have bravely shared their experiences were offered support throughout the process and any concerns raised from the story in relation to possible poor practice had been fully investigated by the providers involved in the care.
Lundy and me
Lundy and Me is a short film made with young people who discuss how it feels to have their voices heard and acted upon when they first access services, bringing the Lundy model to life.

Crisis workforce worker videos
These films provide heavily anonymised scenarios shared by workers in the crisis workforce who have previously taken part in our children and young people’s crisis workforce training programme.
The aim of the training videos is to highlight good practice and learning from the perspective of crisis workers. Crisis workers who volunteered were asked to outline an example of good crisis work or relevant learning. The workers then helped us to shape this situation into a script which is played by actors and accompanied by learning objectives and exercises for training.
