About this training

This training will help school staff better understand their own wellbeing needs and how to manage them. The course will include building resilience and managing secondary trauma. Attendees will also learn how to support the wellbeing of colleagues in their school or college.

Aims of this training

  • To understand the meaning of staff wellbeing in relation to yourself and colleagues.

  • To identify and monitor your own wellbeing needs and the impact of workplace culture and environment.

  • To develop more effective communication systems with employers to facilitate appropriate support.

  • To recognise your personal and professional role and responsibilities in managing your wellbeing including building resilience and the impact of secondary trauma on wellbeing.
