Linking Loss Study
This NIHR-funded study explores mental health after early pregnancy loss in Black, Asian, and LGBTQIA+ communities.
Background to the study
The Linking Loss study is a two-year project funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR). It aims to deepen understanding of the experiences and needs of people who face mental health challenges following early pregnancy loss, with a particular focus on individuals from Black, Asian, and LGBTQIA+ communities.
The study will involve surveys and interviews with those who have experienced early pregnancy loss, as well as with health professionals who support them. Insights from this research will inform the co-design of a group, peer-led intervention to better support people affected by early pregnancy loss.
