SCM Implementation Training

A two-day online training for NHS clinical leads and service managers to learn how to implement Structured Clinical Management (SCM) based approach for supporting individuals with complex emotional needs — within their services effectively and sustainably.

About this training

This two-day online training programme is designed to support the implementation of Structured Clinical Management (SCM) in NHS Trusts. SCM is an evidence-based, cost-effective intervention for individuals with complex emotional and relational difficulties, often diagnosed with personality disorders.

The course provides clinical leads and service managers with the practical knowledge and leadership skills required to scope, plan, staff, train, and integrate SCM within their services. It addresses challenges around workforce development, risk management, and system-level integration, aiming to improve patient outcomes and ensure sustainability.
